It's been a while since I have posted a recent photo of myself here. Well, here we go. The beard's back for no other reason than sheer laziness. It won't last. The other hair? It hasn't been cut all year, as I'm thinking about letting the 'fro return. Hell, Sammy Hagar still looks good with long hair, and he has over a decade on me!
And no, I don't color my hair. It looks darker in the winter (especially indoors) because it's lost the sun-fading exposure and it contrasts with my lighter untanned flesh. The skin will get darker and the hair will get lighter (and longer) as summer beckons!

The fro might work for you. The stubble makes you look a little like a bad boy. Some people like that. Although you still can't escape that Great American Hero resemblance. ;-)
Cool! Hey, over at A.Word.A.Day, this week's theme is "Hair today, gone tomorrow." Your timing is perfect!
VV ~ The 'fro's kinda worked in the past, why not in the future too? Stay tuned!
Smith ~ I love A.Word.A.Day! That was the very first email newsletter I subscribed to, from back in '95 or so. Today's (relevant to this post!) word:
pogonotrophy (po-guh-NAW-truh-fee) noun
The growing of a beard.
[From Greek pogon (beard) + -trophy (nourishment, growth).]
Pogonology is the study of beards and pogonotomy is a fancy word for shaving.
Great work.
